Terms of use
Last updated: 8 August 2026
These terms govern the use of Bokelle by individuals. Businesses listed on Bokelle are bound by separate professional terms.
1.Who we are
Bokelle is a booking marketplace operated by Atlas Lejon AB, a Swedish company, which publishes the site and the app. Bokelle connects individuals with businesses in Morocco: hair, salon, beauty, massage, hammam and spa, restaurants and similar services. By creating an account or making a booking, you accept these terms.
2.Bokelle is an intermediary, not the provider
The service contract is concluded directly between you and the business you book. Bokelle performs no services, employs no practitioners, and does not control the quality of what happens on the premises. The business alone is responsible for:
- its prices, the duration of its services and how they are described;
- its cancellation and lateness policy;
- the service itself, its hygiene, its safety and its compliance;
- the legal, tax and professional obligations attached to its trade.
3.Your account
An account is not required to book — guest booking remains possible — but it lets you find, change and cancel your appointments. You must have the legal capacity to contract and give accurate contact details: they are what the business uses to reach you if something changes. An account is personal, and you answer for its use.
4.The secret word
The secret word is a code you choose, which the voice assistant asks for before saving a booking in your name. It stands in for a spoken signature: treat it as a password, tell no one, and change it from your profile if you think someone overheard it.
5.Booking
A request becomes a booking when it appears under “My bookings” and a confirmation is emailed to you. Some businesses confirm automatically, others after checking their calendar; while the status reads “pending”, the slot is not yours. Where what you were told and what is on screen disagree, the screen is authoritative.
6.Prices and payment
Bokelle takes no payment from you and charges individuals no booking fee and no commission. You pay the business directly, on site, by whichever means it accepts. Displayed prices are supplied by the business, quoted in dirhams and inclusive of tax; they are indicative, and the amount due may differ if the service actually performed differs from the one booked.
7.Cancellation, lateness and no-shows
You can cancel from “My bookings” or from the link in your confirmation email. Each business sets its own notice period, shown on its page. Arriving significantly late may lead the business to shorten or refuse the service, since the next slot belongs to someone else. Repeated no-shows without cancelling may result in your booking access being limited or suspended.
8.Right of withdrawal
Booking a service for a specified date or period falls, under most applicable laws, within the exceptions to the distance right of withdrawal: the business's cancellation policy applies instead. Your mandatory rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.
9.Complaints
A complaint about the service, its price or how it went must be raised with the business, which is responsible for it. If you get no answer, write to info@atlaslejon.se: we can pass the complaint on and, where failures repeat, remove a business from the marketplace. Bokelle has no authority to settle a dispute between you and a business.
10.Reviews
A review can only be left after a booking that was actually honoured, and only once per booking — which is what makes the ratings worth reading. Your review must reflect your real experience. Abusive, defamatory or discriminatory content, other people's personal data, and anything unrelated to the service are not allowed.
- You keep your rights in the text you publish.
- You grant Bokelle a free, non-exclusive right to display it on the business's page and in search results.
- Bokelle may remove a review that breaches these terms, and a business can neither edit one nor have it taken down because it dislikes it.
11.The voice assistant
The Bokelle voice assistant is an artificial intelligence. It understands your request, suggests businesses and can save a booking for you. It can be wrong: about a name, a price, a time.
- Using the microphone requires your permission; you can hang up at any moment.
- No booking is saved without your explicit confirmation and your secret word.
- A booking exists only once it appears on screen and in your confirmation email. What the voice says is not a confirmation.
- Do not use the assistant to share sensitive information: it needs neither your bank details nor health data.
12.Prohibited use
When using Bokelle, you must not:
- book with no intention of turning up, or book on someone else's behalf without their agreement;
- impersonate anyone, or pass yourself off as a business;
- bulk-extract the site's content, copy it or republish it;
- circumvent a technical measure, probe the security of the service without written permission, or disrupt its operation;
- publish unlawful content, or use the service to solicit business.
13.Availability and how results are ranked
Bokelle is provided as is and may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or incidents. Search results are ordered by relevance to your request: the service you asked for, proximity, availability and rating. A business must hold a subscription — or be explicitly exempted by Bokelle — to appear on the marketplace at all; the subscription buys presence, not a better position in the results.
14.Intellectual property
The Bokelle name, its logo, the interface, the copy and the code of the service belong to Atlas Lejon AB and are protected. Photos, descriptions and prices belong to the businesses, which warrant that they hold the rights needed to publish them. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property right to you.
15.Liability
Bokelle answers for the introduction, not for the service. We are not liable for a business cancelling your appointment, for an incorrect price it published itself, or for the outcome of a treatment. We do not warrant a service free of interruption or error. Our liability is not limited in cases of intent or gross negligence, nor where applicable law forbids it; otherwise it is limited to direct and foreseeable loss.
16.Closing your account
You can close your account at any time; deletion erases your personal data as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, with warning where circumstances allow. Bookings already confirmed remain owed to the business.
17.Changes to these terms
These terms change as the service does. Where a change is substantial we tell you on the site and, if you have an account, by email, before it takes effect. Continuing to use Bokelle after that date means you accept it. The version that applies is the one published on the date of your booking.
18.Governing law, disputes and contact
The contract you conclude with a business is governed by Moroccan law. These terms, which govern your relationship with Bokelle, are governed by Swedish law, without depriving you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. We always look for an amicable answer first: write to info@atlaslejon.se. Bokelle is a trademark of Atlas Lejon AB, Sweden.
